The villain fled only because he feared Euanus’ potential. Recovering the obsidian Secret Keeper Box and liberating the wolves marked the first time the Black Spider learned the name Euanus.

In the enchanted forest, the Lady of the Willows saw through everyone else and spoke directly to Euanus: “Are you running away, or to?” In her dream-realm, he built and conquered a full obstacle course through sheer creativity, forging a magical bond with Wolfie. Destiny had clearly chosen him.

Ambushed by zombies, bitten and bludgeoned, Euanus still fought on. He uncovered hidden treasure, helped defeat Julie the sorceress, and freed Eramy, a hedge wizard trapped for eighteen months. Only Euanus could dismantle the ritual’s protections.

Inside the extradimensional chest, Euanus immediately recognised Xarran as untrustworthy. While others charged blindly, he alone realised the five-headed monster was trapped and suffering. His caution and insight prevented disaster.

At Darkwood House, Euanus strode confidently inside, fought through skeletons, smashed skulls, and helped defeat the mummy controlling the manor. His bravery freed Worm, who rewarded him with a magical platter of eternal scotch eggs.

In Costin, Euanus destroyed a two-headed lizard monster with a homemade fuel-air bomb. Disguised as part of a performing troupe, he scaled a guard tower, freed ten prisoners, and fought Slicer and Chopper in brutal single combat.

Deep underground, Euanus dodged falling monsters, escaped a void of stars through sheer willpower, and fought cosmic horrors. Even swallowed and electrocuted, he kept fighting — hurling a chair at an eldritch being while eating a scotch egg.

In the Forge Hall, a gelatinous cube nearly dissolved Euanus’ arm — but he clawed his way free, revived, and kept pushing forward. He attempted to weaponise the cube’s acid before leading the charge toward the church, where the Dream Monster awaited.

In the Forge Hall’s depths, Euanus uncovered the truth of the mythical Star Sisters and bargained with them to save the dwarves. He slowed time with his sand timer, distracted a Star Sister with effortless charm, and helped deliver the metal sphere that fed the Star Wyrm. When twenty Starspawn attacked, he fought beside his allies, scarfed two scotch eggs, and helped destroy them all. The dwarves celebrated his victory, Riachan pledged himself as a follower, and Euanus earned the Dwarf Guild’s badge before ascending toward Costin.

Within the walking box, Xarran faced her trial alone, guided only by the Shades — memories of the party. The shade of Euanus battled through the shifting marble hall, cut free of the spider queen’s webbing, split a giant spider’s skull, and pierced the matriarch with a perfect arrow. When a hostile wizard tried to abduct her, he fought through summoned armour and waves of magic until the Shades saved her mind. Reunited in Costin, Xarran greeted the party warmly — but Euanus, remembering her deceit, still keeps his guard up around the witch.

In Costin, Euanus investigated the walking box while Xarran lurked under guard and suspicion. Inside the box’s dungeon‑hall, he uncovered unseen servants, a trapped entrance, and the taunting visage of the Black Mage. He found hidden treasure with roguish skill, escaped a shapeshifting bookcase monster with a flawless flip, and helped defeat it alongside Maxon. As Xarran pretended fear after luring the party into the trap, Euanus kept his guard up, recognising her deceit while the dungeon reset for the next trial.

Within the Black Mage’s dungeon, Euanus relieved the unseen servants of several pieces of silver cutlery and resisted the temptation of an endless magical feast, passing the dungeon’s hidden test. While exploring an impossible kitchen, he discovered wonders beyond counting before coming under attack from a rebellious bathtub and its allies. Undaunted, Euanus fought the animated bathroom furniture alone, attempted to tame the rampaging bath like a mighty bronco, and kept battling even after being thrown to the floor and struck in the head by a flying sink.

Within the Black Mage's dungeon, Euanus survived a vicious battle with animated bathroom furniture, only to awaken bearing a mysterious silver handprint upon his face. After passing the floor's trial, he descended into the old workshop of Smiths, where he uncovered strange unfinished creations and faced a two-headed centi-spider whose acidic blood burned through the floor itself. Euanus launched a daring attack, dodged webs and poison, and even attempted to fool the beast with a mannequin decoy before helping bring it down. That night, as the party rested, Euanus dreamed among the stars and was visited once more by the Star Sister, leaving him awakened with a strange sense of longing.
